Coolidge Point

Carefully sited into a steeply sloping wooded property, a stunning elliptically shaped pool and integrated spa are the centerpiece of this design. Full color range bluestone plank decking and a custom cut granite firepit define the entertaining areas. Large granite blocks and steps effortlessly transition the dramatic grades to the existing house and deck. Native drifts of Summersweet, Hydrangea, and ferns complete this seamless landscape integration.

Pigeon Cove

Framed by a custom red cedar fence, this inviting landscape features a new swimming pool surrounded by elegant blue mist granite. Reclaimed granite steps transition gracefully to an upper lawn terrace and firepit, while a dedicated sculpture garden seamlessly blends artistic elements with relaxed outdoor living.

An elliptical pool with irregular bluestone decking is gracefully terraced into this sloped site, highlighting water views and natural ledge while concealing the pool fence below. A modern plank-style stone walkway, unique granite lighting, and a vibrant Green Threadleaf Maple create a pop of color to complement this modern home.

Bartlett Street

Working for a return client, this project joined the 2012 upper bluestone terrace to a new pool and associated decking. Bluestone, brick, ipe wood, new plantings, period fencing, and lighting were all seamlessly integrated with the existing house and patio.  A series of well defined and unique terraced spaces lead one from the house, through entertaining spaces, to the pool.

Staycation!

This project involved multiple elements- a new 3 car garage, swimming pool, fire pit, walkways, fencing and cabana. Bluestone coping and decking were integrated with historic Styles + Hart brick banding, while extensive plantings provide visual interest and eventual shade canopy. An adjacent lawn space included within the fenced yard provides safe free play opportunities .

River House

Working with Olson Lewis + Architects, Derosa Environmental and others, ULC provided full landscape design and construction management services for this newly built home in Manchester-by-the-sea. A new entry drive, parking court, pool, tennis court, fencing, entry gate, lighting and plantings provide the finishing touches to this beautiful home and site.

SITE PLANNING, ENTRY COURT AND GARDEN DESIGN

Georgetown Tudor

ULC provided design and construction management services for this residential project in Georgetown, MA. The landscape design included the placement of a 2 car garage, extensive driveway and parking court redesign, and the integration of a seat wall and patio with the new kitchen addition. Unique grading issues resulted in the design and installation of a bio retention area to capture runoff from the roof and patio surfaces.
